It Takes a Village . . .

If you are struggling to get traffic to your blog or your offer… you are not alone.

If you are working overtime to get your business up and running but struggle to get people to you, then I suggest Facebook groups for the win.

They are free and chalked full of those who have been there, done that. You can get great information and insight from them.

Grow your blog

Facebook groups are a chance for you to grow your business. Depending on how a  group is run, there are specific days for you to promote your social media handles, offers, blogs, and re-pins from Pinterest. If you choose to join a group, don’t’ just throw up your links and run, share, comment and re-post others…you have to give to get.

Engage With Other Entrepreneurs

There can be tons of people in  Facebook groups, and this is great for collaboration. You can engage with others, become guest bloggers, get your questions answered, and network with other people. The more you network with others, the more people know who you are, in turn, it will help with SEO and traffic to your site.

Support

Who doesn’t want help from others in your industry? I have learned so much from other entrepreneurs, and it’s great to be a part of communities where you can share and support one another.  Let’s face it; it’s a harsh industry to be in when you first start. You can also turn around and share your knowledge with others.

What to Look for in a Good Facebook Group

Some groups are great and can help your engagement, and others are just full of spammers that will continuously message you out of the blue and shove their offers down your throat. I can’t stand that. If you find yourself in one of those groups, I suggest you find an alternative one. There are a lot of great ones out there that are not spammy.

 Things to Look For

  • Consistent Schedule – you know you are going to be able to post your offers on certain days.
  • Good Engagement- a dead group will not do much for your traffic
  • Responsive Admin/ Moderator- someone in the group who will make sure no one is selling stuff and spamming and enforcing the rules.
  • Rules – to build on the last point, a group needs rules. You need one that will not just let anyone in, and if they break the rules, they will be removed from the group.
